By downloading, installing, or using Tusk ("the App") or visiting the Tusk website ("the Website"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App or Website.

Tusk is a macOS backup utility developed and operated by Niklas Fischer (KIZO Agency) ("we", "us", "our"). For questions, contact us at niklas@tuskbackup.com

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on Mac devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the App or any part of it.

Tusk offers a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, continued use requires a paid license.

Tusk is sold as a one-time purchase. Your license includes one year of updates from the date of purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe. Tusk dohParagraphs not store your payment information. License keys are tied to a hashed machine identifier and may be activated on up to 3 devices. License keys are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

Tusk ophParagraphrates locally on your machine. Your files are never uploaded to Tusk's servers. The App communicates with Tusk's backend only for license verification and error reporting purposes. No file content or metadata is transmitted to Tusk.

If you hParagraphonnect Google Drive as a backup destination, Tusk requests access only to files it creates (drive.file scope). Tusk does not access any other files in your Google Drive. You can revoke this access at any time via your Google account settings.

You mayhParagraphnot use Tusk for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App or its infrastructure. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.

We may hParagraphelease updates to the App from time to time. Your license includes one year of updates from the date of purchase. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time with reasonable notice.

Tusk ishParagraphprovided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own backup strategy. Tusk is a tool to assist with this — not a guarantee against data loss.

To the hParagraphaximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or Website, including but not limited to data loss, loss of profits, or business interruption.

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may hParagraphpdate these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App or Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will note the date of the most recent update at the top of this page.
